Alex’s Recognition Concert
現在在 TAS，因為一路就唸到十二年級，也就沒有像台灣的小學、國中分別有畢業典禮，唯一的畢業典禮就是高中結束時。
上星期收到通知單時，Alex 就催著我替他準備 concert 要穿的衣服，西裝褲就穿前表演時所買的黑色長褲，而衣櫥裡的襯衫，卻件件都太小太短，就趁這次替他買了件粉紅色襯衫。呵呵呵 … 我們家這個小男生是愈來愈有大男生的感覺了，穿襯衫打起了領帶，真的覺得吾家有男初長成。
原本以為只是單純的五年級音樂成果表演會，結果昨天才從另一位家長口中得知，這音樂會的其實就有點兒像小學部的畢業典禮。TAS 的系統和台灣的教育體系有些許的差異，小學部是到五年級，中學是從六年級到八年級，高中部則是四年。
本來 Jerry 沒有打算出席的，因為活動在晚上七點鐘開時，這樣他勢必得要提早下班，所以當初協議好就由我代表出席。不過，在昨天晚上跟他提到 concert 的型態， 這小孩萬歲的好爸爸，下午又臨時改變主意，提早下班回家洗澡更衣後，直奔學校觀賞兒子的表演。
整個晚上的活動是由 string 揭開序幕，再來是 choir 的表演，緊接著是 Alex 所屬的 band，最終曲是所有五年級的大合唱。這其中還撥放了這一年來這些孩子們的學校生活照片剪輯，看著這群孩子們開心的笑容，成長的點滴，讓人不由自主的紅了眼眶。
整個活動簡單而溫馨，結束時台下的家長們給予了這些孩子們熱烈的掌聲。希望你們在暑假過後，邁入人生的另一個階段，會更佳的充實。
